Dempster Terrace is a gorgeous Victorian end of terrace ground floor apartment located just outside the centre of St Andrews. Newly refurbished at the end of 2018, this one bedroom, one bathroom, bright apartment maintains some of its original features, preserving its traditional feel with a touch of modernity. Moreover, the living room compromises of a sofa bed, providing a further double bed. The apartment also benefits from its private patio to the rear – perfect for summer evenings. The apartment is in the perfect location for a quiet St Andrews break, but still in walking distance to everything the town has to offer. South Street is just a short walk up Queens Gardens, which is where you can find an abundance of bars, pubs and restaurants. The local cinema is a short walk over to North Street and St Andrews Botanic Gardens is a quick five minutes walk away. The apartment is accessed via a pedestrian bridge over the Kinness Burn, set back from the road.

All keys are collected from our main offices, as below, do not go directly to the property unless you have booked for one of our staff to meet you at the property at the time of booking.

The keys will be available from 4 PM onwards, departure is at 10 AM. To collect the keys you should follow the directions below.


DIRECTIONS TO KINGASK OFFICE/RECEPTION:
  • From the Forth Road Bridge take the A92 and follow signs to St. Andrews.
  • Leave St. Andrews on the A917, keeping left to the Crail Coast Rd.
  • Approximately 2 miles from St. Andrews on the left hand side, directly opposite Spinkstown Farmhouse B&B, is the entrance for Kingask House (2 Sandstone pillars at the entrance leading to a white house surrounded by trees).
  • Once you get to the top of the drive follow signs for the office/reception.
  • The postcode is KY16 8PN if you wish to use a route planner. If you reach the "Fairmount Golf Hotel" then you have gone too far!

If there is nobody at the office when you arrive the keys will be in an envelope in the safety box outside with your name and property booked printed on it. This will also include detailed directions on how to get to the house.

This is a very comfortable, well equipped flat in a great location! Quiet peaceful setting a short walk into town. Easy check-in and out and very clean.

I loved my stay in this beautiful flat! I enjoyed cozy evenings in the living room with the fireplace, sleeping in the very comfortable bed, and making meals in the kitchen. Everything is so lovely and the location perfect. Molly, the host, was so pleasant and responsive. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return!
