What to look forward to this summer in St Andrews and The East Neuk of Fife

We have an action-packed summer ahead of us here in St Andrews, and it would only be fair you to come along and join in on all the fun.

Summer holidays are made for creating special memories for all those involved – whether it’s a family fair or a long-awaited reunion of friends, everything you could wish for is right here in and around our historic town.

Wondering why St Andrews and The East Neuk should be on your holiday list for 2022? With plenty on throughout the summer months, you won’t be finding yourself short of things to do.

Here is a selection of local events to feature in your summer of 2022’s calendar:

The Open Championship – 10th – 17th July 2022

With a record-breaking number of attendees expected, the 150th Open Championship is set to be a historic one. The event commences on the 10th July, with play ceasing on the 17th.  Whether you’re an avid golfer or not, every one of us will be in awe of how the town transforms for such a momentous occasion.

If you are planning on attending the event and are yet to secure accommodation, we have only a few remaining properties left for the week. From a penthouse apart for 6 with a private balcony with views of the course, to a coastal retreat just a short drive away, surrounded by panoramic rural and sea views, we have something that is sure to suit your requirements.
