At the proprietor’s discretion and at a cost of £30 per pet, well behaved pets are welcome (refer to the property listing), but should not be allowed in bedrooms, on furniture or left unattended at any time in the property. At a maximum of 3 pets per property. There will be an additional charge per week, per pet. Upon departure, if there is any dog mess left behind in the garden this will incur a £75 charge.

Bed configurations
Please let us know your preferred bed configurations (e.g. twin or Superking) no later than a week prior to your arrival date, if we do not receive this information by this date we shall set beds up as twins as standard. The configurations available for your home are outlined under the facilities and description tabs.
Check in/ check out
Check in on the day of arrival is 4pm and check out is 10am.
Should you require a later check out or early check in, this will be entirely dependent on when previous guests depart, or the next guests arrive.
Please call us a day or so prior to arrival should you wish to check in early. Should a later check out be required and we are able accommodate this, a charge of £40.00 will apply up to 12pm. If you would like to check out later than 12pm, an extra night will be charged.
Pets

We booked two houses with Kingask — 6 Howard Place and Playfair Terrace — for a golf trip with 16 players, and everything was simply perfect!
Both properties were ideally located, just a few steps from the town centre, golf shops, pubs, and restaurants — it couldn’t be more convenient.
The houses were spacious, beautifully maintained, and very well soundproofed. The large living areas were perfect for relaxing after our rounds.
The Kingask team was extremely responsive: we had a small heating issue, and a plumber came the same day while we were out golfing.
We also really appreciated the exclusive discounts at local golf courses and restaurants — a brilliant idea!
No one in our group had a single complaint.
We’ll definitely book with Kingask again next time we’re in St Andrews.

Just returned from a week stay at Playfair Terrace for the Thanksgiving holiday. I cannot say enough about this unit – it is fantastic in every way and I will be sure to book it for future visits while our son is at St Andrews!
This is one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed. Walking distance to EVERYTHING you could ever imagine. Highly highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!
| We’ve just returned from a 3 night stay (with my wife, 3 teenage daughters and small dog). The house is beautiful, immaculate and very well equipped. Small touches like the fairy lights in the bedroom fireplace and electric candles everywhere gave it a lovely ambiance. The beds were amazing, like sleeping in hotel beds, we all slept very well. The location was spot on, perfect for the beach or having a wander round the town. We had some great meals out, a couple we would recommend are Little Italy and Rogue (20% off the bill at the latter for staying in this house). We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a good quality holiday home. The team at Kingask have been great, really helpful and very responsive. Thank you! |
