This timeless, seventeenth century cottage is just a stone’s throw from the heart of St Andrews, nestled right beside the famous West Port arch, famous for being the best-preserved city gate in Scotland.

Appropriately named, The Wee House was once the town’s public toilets in a previous life, before being transformed into this contemporary, exceptional home. With all its space being remarkably utilised, both bedrooms on the ground floor benefit from an en-suite shower room, and the flexibility to offer super king or twin sleeping arrangements. The entire first floor is occupied by the modern open plan kitchen, living and dining area.

Perfect for groups of golfers and friends, the Wee House is just a short 5-minute walk to The Old Course and Royal and Ancient clubhouse. South Street is located a few steps round the corner, where you will find many of the best local restaurants and cafes.

There is keycoded access to the property and therefore no need to collect keys from our office. We will be in touch within the week of your arrival to provide the property address and code for access.
Alongside the amenities specific to this home included under the ‘facilities’ tab, the following will also be provided for your stay:
  • High quality 300 thread count Egypian Cotton bed linen
  • A fluffy white hand towel and bath towel per person, including a hand towel and bathmat for each bathroom
  • Bar of soap in each bathroom
  • Mini shower gel per person
  • One toilet roll per bathroom
  • A starter pack of kitchen essentials, including dishwashing soap, a few dishwasher tablets, dishcloth, tea towel, washing up sponge and a spare bin bag.
  • An iron and ironing board
  • Hairdryer
In addition, extras are available to add at the time of booking. These can be added up to a week prior to your arrival. These include:
  • Travel cot (linen not provided) £20.00
  • Highchair £20.00
  • Pet fee £30.00 per dog (applicable to dog friendly homes only)
  • Meet at the property service (available only within office hours) £25.00
Please do note, linen is not provided with the travel cots for safety reasons. If you pre-order these we will ensure they are set up in your house ready for your arrival. All items are hired at guest’s own risk

Bed configurations
Please let us know your preferred bed configurations (e.g. twin or Superking) no later than a week prior to your arrival date, if we do not receive this information by this date we shall set beds up as twins as standard. The configurations available for your home are outlined under the facilities and description tabs.

Check in/ check out
Check in on the day of arrival is 4pm and check out is 10am.

Should you require a later check out or early check in, this will be entirely dependent on when previous guests depart, or the next guests arrive.
Please call us a day or so prior to arrival should you wish to check in early. Should a later check out be required and we are able accommodate this, a charge of £40.00 will apply up to 12pm. If you would like to check out later than 12pm, an extra night will be charged.

Fantastic apartment in a fantastic location. Everything you need for a self catering holiday is there with everything else the town has to offer on your doorstep. Even though there is no parking at the apartment there is parking really close by for affordable daily rates. Will definitely book again!

Just returned from a long weekend staying at the Wee House. It’s ideally situated right in the heart of St Andrews literally a few metres from bars, restaurants and cafes. Parking is also very close and we found using the RingGo app to be very useful. The property is well appointed with all the usual things we need for modern living, wifi, en suite with great showers,and so on. I highly recommend The Wee House and will definitely return on a future visit to St Andys!

The Wee House is in a prime location and immaculate. It had everything that we needed for our 5 night stay. Parking was a few minutes walk away which wasn’t a problem. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops within a very short walk. We would definitely rent this property again.

The Wee House is so well located in the centre of St Andrews. The house is well equipped with everything you need during your stay. Check-in was really easy and parking was literally across the road. Definitely a property I would recommend while staying in St Andrews.
