A little gem set back just off North Street, Willow Cottage is perfectly situated for easy access to all of St Andrews’ amenities and just a 2 minutes from The Old Course and West Sands beach, directly down Gillespie Wynd.

The galley-style kitchen comes equipped with all that you require for your holiday in St Andrews and overlooks the cottage’s private outdoor space to the side. To the front of the property, the cosy living area boasts a gas fire and piano and provides access into the separate dining room with plenty of seating. There is also a separate W.C. on the ground floor.

The first floor encompasses two twin bedrooms and a master bathroom, with a shower over the bath.

Willow Cottage benefits from its own private parking spot, as well as a private gravelled outdoor patio area with a table, chairs, and bench. A great little sun spot!

Gillespie Wynd can be accessed just up the lane, which brings you out directly on to The Scores. North Street is just 100m away, which is where you will find many of the best local restaurants and cafés, as well as the cinema and Cathedral ruins. Bibi’s café is located on the corner as you enter the lane, perfectly situated for nipping by for some morning pastries, or eating in for a spot of breakfast, brunch, or lunch.

There is a lockbox at the property, so guests can check themselves in from 4pm. Check in details will be provided within the week of arrival.

Alongside the amenities specific to this home included under the ‘facilities’ tab, the following will also be provided for your stay:
  • High quality 300 thread count Egypian Cotton bed linen
  • A white hand towel and bath towel per person, including a hand towel and bathmat for each bathroom
  • Bar of soap in each bathroom
  • Mini shower gel per person
  • One toilet roll per bathroom
  • A starter pack of kitchen essentials, including dishwashing soap, a few dishwasher tablets, dishcloth, tea towel, washing up sponge and a spare bin bag.
  • An iron and ironing board
  • Hairdryer
In addition, extras are available to add at the time of booking. These can be added up to a week prior to your arrival. These include:
  • Travel cot (linen not provided) £20.00
  • Highchair £20.00
  • Pet fee £30.00 per dog (applicable to dog friendly homes only)
  • Meet at the property service (available only within office hours) £25.00
Please do note, linen is not provided with the travel cots for safety reasons. If you pre-order these we will ensure they are set up in your house ready for your arrival. All items are hired at guest’s own risk

Bed configurations
Please let us know your preferred bed configurations (e.g. twin or Superking) no later than a week prior to your arrival date, if we do not receive this information by this date we shall set beds up as twins as standard. The configurations available for your home are outlined under the facilities and description tabs.

Check in/ check out
Check in on the day of arrival is 4pm and check out is 10am.

Should you require a later check out or early check in, this will be entirely dependent on when previous guests depart, or the next guests arrive.
Please call us a day or so prior to arrival should you wish to check in early. Should a later check out be required and we are able accommodate this, a charge of £40.00 will apply up to 12pm. If you would like to check out later than 12pm, an extra night will be charged.

A nice, quiet place in the heart of St Andrews. Easy access to Towne Centre, the Old Course, the Scores, and the West Sands. Nice bathroom and well stocked kitchen.

Five days in St Andrews was fantastic and our time at Willow Cottage was a great value and really was nice to come “home” to after a round of golf at the Home of Golf!! You cannot beat the location and beds and large tub provided the recouping we needed after each day’s adventures. We would stay there again in a heartbeat

Wonderful house. Just right for 4 in a brilliant location for trips to the beach and around town.

Stayed at this beautiful cottage in the centre of St. Andrews during graduation week for my son’s graduation. The cottage was beautifully presented. It was spotlessly clean and the facilities were excellent and comfortable. It’s location was superb just off North Street right in the centre of town and within easy reach of all restaurants, shops, transport links, beaches, etc. There was room for private parking directly outside the property. The booking service and collection/return of keys was very efficient and the staff at Kingask were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this lovely little cottage.
