Bed configurations
Please let us know your preferred bed configurations (e.g. twin or Superking) no later than a week prior to your arrival date, if we do not receive this information by this date we shall set beds up as twins as standard. The configurations available for your home are outlined under the facilities and description tabs.
Check in/ check out
Check in on the day of arrival is 4pm and check out is 10am.
Should you require a later check out or early check in, this will be entirely dependent on when previous guests depart, or the next guests arrive.
Please call us a day or so prior to arrival should you wish to check in early. Should a later check out be required and we are able accommodate this, a charge of £40.00 will apply up to 12pm. If you would like to check out later than 12pm, an extra night will be charged.

The house was perfect for us. We was 12 golfers who stayed a week. It,s 7 bedrooms and a big living room. The house is in a perfect area whit a supermarket two minutes walk and to the Old Course is it 4 minutes walk. If you looking for a house or apartment for a bigger group of golfers, this house is perfect!
Perfect place for a large group vacationing. Whether it’s a big family or two foursomes of golfers. The place is old (In a cool-vintage kind of way) .. But, they have “modernized” the kitchen and bathrooms. All rooms were clean and tidy when we arrived. You are right in the middle of St Andrews. A quiet little street but a short walk to everything. (115 steps to the pub at the corner). The host company was very helpful answering questions prior to our stay. Also, helping with a few problems (that were self-inflicted!) and getting them fixed quickly. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend them highly if you need a place that fits 8-12 comfortably.
We had 10 stay here and it was great. This place is much bigger than the pictures suggest. Everything was great and clean. You are right in the middle of town and in very quick walking distance to restaurants, shops and golf. Plenty of parking if you have a car. I would absolutely stay here again
We were staying in Howard place for my brother in laws wedding. The house was amazing for a large family would highly recommend. The house was in the perfect location with the beach and old course a 5 min walk and the high street round the corner! We’ll definitely be back thanks to the king ask team they were fab!
The flat is huge. Comfortable for 14 guests. Group dinners were no problem. Very centrally located. Very comfortable. Highly recommend
We recently rented the Kingask property at 6 Howard Place in St Andrews for almost 3 weeks with a total of nearly 40 guests visiting us for short stays. The house delivers on it’s promise the location is perfect and 10 guests could share the house comfortably, not a single complaint. Kingask offers a friendly and professional service, very responsive and reliable.
We stayed a week at 6 Howard Place for a guys golfing trip and the house was great. It is centrally located in St. Andrews, so we could easily walk for eating or shopping, and even walked with clubs to our tee time at Jubilee. We were all but one over 40 and at a stage of life where not having to share rooms was a huge plus. The house itself was comfortable and had a large living room on the first floor big enough to store golf bags and still have room for everyone to sit and relax. We used the kitchen little but it was nicely sized and we could have cooked meals had we wanted to. Parking was a little tricky and sometimes required circling the block a few times, but we always managed to find a spot relatively quickly. Kingask made the process easy with online booking, straightforward pricing and communication, and an easy check in/check out process. I would absolutely book the house again.
Imposing and welcoming property ideal for large families with children and pets. The location is perfect having the beach, the world famous golf courses and the beautiful town centre all within a stones throw. We spent 2 days walking around all that St Andrews had to offer before taking a short car trip on day 3 to visit the small, idyllic harbour at Crail to enjoy some freshly caught lobster and crab!
We will certainly visit again as there is still so much to see and do as we ran out of time. Very many thanks to Kingask for an exceptional service and we look forward to seeing you again sometime soon.
This is my 2nd time renting this property for a golf trip, and it was just as great as the last time in 2017. The location has easy access to restaurants, bars, sundries and of course lots of golf. Inside there is plenty of space…we had 12 on this trip and never once felt cramped for space.
