Alongside the amenities specific to this home included under the ‘facilities’ tab, the following will also be provided for your stay:
  • High quality 300 thread count Egyptian Cotton bed linen
  • A fluffy white hand towel and bath towel per person, including a hand towel and bathmat for each bathroom
  • Bar of soap in each bathroom
  • Mini shower gel per person
  • One toilet roll per bathroom
  • A starter pack of kitchen essentials, including dishwashing soap, a few dishwasher tablets, dishcloth, tea towel, washing up sponge and a spare bin bag.
  • An iron and ironing board
  • Hairdryer
In addition, extras are available to add at the time of booking. These can be added up to a week prior to your arrival. These include:
  • Travel cot (linen not provided) £20.00
  • Highchair £20.00
  • Pet fee £30.00 per dog (applicable to dog friendly homes only)
  • Meet at the property service (available only within office hours) £25.00
Please do note, linen is not provided with the travel cots for safety reasons. If you pre-order these we will ensure they are set up in your house ready for your arrival. All items are hired at guest’s own risk

Bed configurations
Please let us know your preferred bed configurations (e.g. twin or Superking) no later than a week prior to your arrival date, if we do not receive this information by this date we shall set beds up as twins as standard. The configurations available for your home are outlined under the facilities and description tabs.

Check in/ check out
Check in on the day of arrival is 4pm and check out is 10am.

Should you require a later check out or early check in, this will be entirely dependent on when previous guests depart, or the next guests arrive.
Please call us a day or so prior to arrival should you wish to check in early. Should a later check out be required and we are able accommodate this, a charge of £40.00 will apply up to 12pm. If you would like to check out later than 12pm, an extra night will be charged.

We had a fantastic stay at 6 Howard Place for a week late March. The accommodation is fantastic with enough space for our party of 12 golfers and the facilities were great. With the newly refurbished kitchen dining area, large lounge and also the benefit of outside space for the warmer nights it’s easy to feel at home.

The location is also excellent being right in the centre of town close to the golf courses and bars, shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

We booked two houses with Kingask — 6 Howard Place and Playfair Terrace — for a golf trip with 16 players, and everything was simply perfect!

Both properties were ideally located, just a few steps from the town centre, golf shops, pubs, and restaurants — it couldn’t be more convenient.
The houses were spacious, beautifully maintained, and very well soundproofed. The large living areas were perfect for relaxing after our rounds.

The Kingask team was extremely responsive: we had a small heating issue, and a plumber came the same day while we were out golfing.
We also really appreciated the exclusive discounts at local golf courses and restaurants — a brilliant idea!

No one in our group had a single complaint.
We’ll definitely book with Kingask again next time we’re in St Andrews.

We had an amazing stay at Kingask’s place in St. Andrews! The house was spotless, spacious, and comfortably fit our group of 9. The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of St. Andrews, with everything just a short walk away. 6 Howard Place is the perfect place to stay in St.Andrews for a group of 12 golfers. Great accommodation in a very central location. Easy short walk to the restaurants and a well equipped kitchen for meals in. Clean, large bedrooms, comfy beds, and good showers. All the extras like high ceilings, laundry, extra freezer, WiFi and garden. This is a prestigious address to have as your base. Just wonderful. Thank you to everyone at Kingask.

We recently rented the Kingask property at 6 Howard Place in St Andrews for almost 3 weeks with a total of nearly 40 guests visiting us for short stays. The house delivers on it’s promise the location is perfect and 10 guests could share the house comfortably, not a single complaint. Kingask offers a friendly and professional service, very responsive and reliable.
