Bed configurations
Please let us know your preferred bed configurations (e.g. twin or Superking) no later than a week prior to your arrival date, if we do not receive this information by this date we shall set beds up as twins as standard. Check in/ check out
Check in on the day of arrival is 4pm and check out is 10am.
Should you require a later check out or early check in, this will be entirely dependent on when previous guests depart, or the next guests arrive.
Please call us a day or so prior to arrival should you wish to check in early. Should a later check out be required and we are able accommodate this, a charge of £40.00 will apply up to 12pm. If you would like to check out later than 12pm, an extra night will be charged.

The cottage was perfect. Cute and quaint and perfect for a family with small children. The location was incredibly central and right on the old course, perfect for golfers. Simply awesome.
Had a fantastic family stay at steprock cottage, ideally and peacefully located close to the beach and all the restaurants, bars and shops. Great seating for us all in the living room, with a handy table in the kitchen and my 8 yr old daughter loved the piano, tho perhaps needs some lessons! Thanks for a great stay, we’ll be back.

Dad, son, wife + daughter go to St Andrews! Played many courses including Carnoustie, New Course and Old Course! Steprock Cottage was wonderful! Great memories made here! We will be back someday!

The Boileaus got back to St. Andrews!! Best bonus is Steprock Cottage. Golfed in the Old Course Reverse Event – what an amazing experience we won’t forget. Beautiful weather, hardly a wind to measure – we were blessed! We will be back!
What a fantastic time & ideal location to visit our daughter while she studies at St. Andrews. The cottage is so comfortable & quiet at the same time centrally located for multiple walks to town & walks along the beach. We hope to come back very soon!
