As the World navigated its way out of the pandemic, we have seen an exponential increase in the desire to book a self-catered homes for groups of golfers coming to play the championship courses which envelop our town.
Whether for a large group of friends, couples, or even just a 4 ball, our portfolio of homes cater for a range of group sizes and budgets. Most importantly, your group get to enjoy spending time together under one roof.
Booking self-catered accommodation provides guests the benefit of home comforts, use of their own facilities such as a washer/dryer, and independence to enjoy their trip, at their own pace. Booking sole use of a property over hotel packages offers great value, particularly for larger groups desiring more space for social gatherings, outside of their own rooms. Dependant on requirements, many of our homes include allocated parking spaces, right outside the door, and private gardens to enjoy some evening sun after a day on the course, and perhaps even a BBQ (or two!).
St Andrews is plentiful in bars, restaurants, and cafes, many of which offer takeaway services. Ecoeats and Deliveroo operate in town, so all sorts of foods can be delivered to your doorstep for those looking to spend less time in the kitchen. There are also local catering companies who, with advance booking, can attend the property and prepare an evening meal.
As standard, within the cost of accommodation, a pre-check in clean is included, as well as linen and towels, but there will be no further cleaning for the duration of the booking. At an extra cost, cleaning can be added, whether it’s just refresh clean mid-week, or a full linen and towel change, we can cater to each group’s individual needs.
Many of our homes come equipped with lockboxes, for easy access to check yourself in upon arrival. For those without, keys will be collected from our office. For both options, we appreciate the need for flexibility surrounding check in times, given how unpredictable travel can be. With the safe outside our office for when we are closed, and property lockboxes, guests can check in as late as required on the day of arrival (after standard 4pm check in time), even in to the early hours of the morning.
